We all have played these games and enjoyed the best time of our lives with them. These hold a special place in our hearts and also in the brains, as memories. It was a time before the pokemon game was a thing.
Let us walk through some of the best times of your childhood.
Handheld Video Game

These were pretty cheap video games which you could carry anywhere with you and enjoy on the go. Such a technology at that time was quite impressive, it kept children hooked for a really long time.
Hide n Seek

You did not have a fun childhood if you have never played hide n seek or “chuppan chupai” as we Indians like to call it. One kid out of group has to seek the other hidden kids and it brings pure joy.
Rock Paper Scissors

When you don’t have many people and you are bored AF!, start playing rock, paper and scissors with your sibling. It was and still is so fun. Such a classic, easy and addictive game, you cannot get enough in one set, you have to play at least 10-15 times to declare a winner.
Hopscotch

I will not confuse you and tell you that it is the age-old game- “Langdi” as we used to call it. I remember, we used to play it with our friends during lunch breaks in the playground almost every day. You need to draw some squares and then hop through them to get to the end. Lovely!
Skipping

On the days we couldn’t play hopscotch, we used to skip using a skipping rope. It feels tiring if you are doing it all alone but when you have company, it is one of the exciting games. Competition, constant sweating and pleasure are the characteristic of this game.
Waterful Ring Toss

I have searched a lot for this game. Most lunch boxes, bottles etc had this game inbuilt which changed our lunch break time in wartime. Who gets more rings inside was more of our interest than who gets the most food inside.
Marbles

In the narrow lanes, whenever you see people crammed in a group together excitedly watching something, it has to be the marbles game. Usually, little boys played this game so they could feel like no less than an archer.
Tic-Tac-Toe

What did you do when you were bored in a class? We played tic-tac-toe. We even played it during classes in school as well as college and that is the best thing about this game, it never gets boring or old.
Tug Of War

The game of power as we like to call it. There are two teams pulling each other through a rope in this war game (not literally though!). One of the most competitive and fun games.
