The dewy look has to be your go-to look when you're trying to play subtle yet extra. Dewy look translates to a naturally glowing skin with a glossy finish. It looks refreshing, radiant, and youthful. We did some research to bring you ways to achieve the ultimate dewy look with and without makeup.

Without Makeup

1. Eat Healthy

It is important to eat healthy for a naturally glowing skin. Eat loads of fruits and raw vegetables to give your skin the right nutrients and vitamins and get ready to shine from within.

2. Stay Hydrated

Water, as we all know, helps in pushing out toxins from the body and gives the perfect complexion to you in return making your face radiant and moisturised than ever.

3. Rub Ice On Your Face

An icy massage is all you need for the glow. Rubbing ice helps circulate blood-flow and makes your skin look more youthful. It also helps in blocking the pores to give you a pore-free look.

4. Light Face Scrubs

Face scrubs made out of coffee powder or rice flour can be great for exfoliating the skin. An exfoliated skin is the first step towards healthy glowing skin.

With Makeup

1. Primer

Use a dewy primer. It is important to add dewy-ness underneath the foundation so that it is subtle, not over the top, yet super dewy and glowing. There are a number of brands with a reasonable dewy primer, Wet and Wild, Loreal, Maybelline to name a few.

2. Foundation

If you have dry skin, you can add a few drops of a hydrating skin oil along with your foundation. This gives a very beautiful dewy finish to your base.

3. Concealer and Brows

Don't forget your eyebrows and your concealer (if needed). Nothing special in this step, do your regular concealer and brows to pop this look.

4. Eyes and Contour

Since dewy looks are more like an "I-woke-up-like-this" kinda look, I'll suggest that you don't go overboard with the contouring and eye makeup. You can go for a subtle contour (preferably cream) for the cheeks, nose, and forehead, and for the eyes, a mix of browns to highlight your eyes can be used. Top it with mascara for a glam-no-glam finish.

5. Blush And Baking

My suggestion for the blush would be to go for a cream blush rather than a powder blush. Cream or liquid would help you stick with the dewy-ness for the look. Remember we do not want to go matte here. I would also suggest that we skip the Baking part with the powder. There is no need to bake the face with powder since that would give us a matte look and that's definitely NOT what we're looking for.  However, if you have super oily skin, a little bit of powder would do you good.

6. Highlight

For the highlight, go all in. The highlight will give you the desired dewy look and the necessary shine. Highlight the inner corners of your eyes, your cheekbones, and the bridge of your nose. You GLOW girl!!

PS- If you don't have a highlighter, petroleum jelly does the work too

7. Lipstick

Lipstick should preferably be a nude or a brown tone. Highlight this with a voluminous gloss on top of the lipstick. This would finish your look with the right amount of dew.

8. Dewy Setting Spray (Optional)

If you have a dewy setting spray in your makeup bag, spray it on your face and lock this dewy look with the ultra dewy finish.

That is it for the dewy look, it is super easy to achieve and looks so bright and natural.
