The beautiful Mubarakan star Ileana D'Cruz has once again made it to the trending buzz by opening about her past insecurities. One would think that gorgeous and talented Bollywood stars like her don't have any insecurities about their bodies, but when you work in such competitive industry, where your talent is your skinny body, it's hard not to feel insecure.
Several stars have talked about self love in the past just like Ileana and it instills a feeling of self confidence among the self-conscious young ladies and lads!
Ileana posted a black and white picture of herself posing in a bikini and she wrote this in the caption:
"I’ve always worried about how I looked. I’ve worried my hips are too wide, my thighs too wobbly, my waist not narrow enough, my tummy not flat enough, my boobs not big enough, my butt too big, my arms too jiggly, nose not straight enough, lips not full enough.....
I’ve worried that I’m not tall enough, not pretty enough, not funny enough, not smart enough, not “perfect” enough."
Calling herself beautifully flawed, she further wrote:
"Not realising I was never meant to be perfect. I was meant to be beautifully flawed.
Different.
Quirky.
Unique.
Every scar, every bump, every “flaw” just made me, me.
My own kind of beautiful."
"That’s why I’ve stopped. Stopped trying to conform to the world’s ideals of what’s meant to be beautiful.
I’ve stopped trying so hard to fit in. Why should I?? When I was born to stand out."
With these words, she captured a lot of attention and garnered many many positive comments on Instagram. Sometimes, it is great to acknowledge that we all are flawed and we are not meant to be perfectly perfect, we are humans, we are supposed to be unique, creative and sometimes messy!
