Cat fights in Bollywood are not new, however, the latest fight going on between Kangana Ranaut versus the whole industry is grabbing eyeballs here and there. The latest wave of heated controversy involves Kangana and Urmila Matondkar (renowned Rangeela actress).
Urmila had given an interview where she advised Kangana that if she wants to eradicate drug problems, she should start with her own state (Himachal Pradesh).
Urmila also quoted- “As a daughter of the city, I will never tolerate any defamatory remark against it. If one person shouts all the time, doesn’t mean the person is speaking the truth. Some people want to crib all the time and play the victim card and if all that fails, they play the woman card,”
After Kangana Ranaut got to know about this interview, she took a jibe at Urmila and called her interview "Derogatory".
She was interviewed by Times Now where she said and we quote, “The way she was talking about me, completely teasing through the interview, pulling faces, or just making a mockery out of my struggles, attacking me basis on the facts that I am trying to please BJP for a ticket. One doesn’t have to be a genius to figure that for me it is not very difficult to get a ticket. I don’t have to play with my life or get my property ruined.”
She further added- “She isn’t known for acting for sure and is known for doing soft porn. If she can get a ticket, why won’t I get a ticket?”
This created a stir in Bollywood and many celebrities came ahead in support of Urmila Matondkar, celebrities like Swara Bhasker and Anubhav Sinha showed their strong support through their tweets, Kangana also got a lot of backlash for her remark to which she tweeted-
