If you spend time thinking, people might think you are slacking off. But thinking is a very crucial part of being productive. When you do some work after giving it a good thought you tend to be more productive because you will be less likely to run into unknown scenarios. The work will be properly planned and hence better.

5. Chatting About Work
If you only think about problems on your own, it is much harder to arrive at the correct answer. When you talk about a problem with someone else you get multiple opinions. You get a perspective different from your own. Listening to someone else talk about something gives us a different understanding of the problem. As a result, some questions that seem impossible to answer alone are obvious when you interact with someone else.
If you are not getting the solution to an answer. Go around, talk about it with someone else.
